Creative Cornflour play

Cornflour is a must in our house. If your stuck for ideas you can bet you can make something up with cornflour. So give you a helping hand heres how to get started using some household ingredients.

All recipes are really easy to do and can all be made within 5 minutes.

Cloud Dough

THis dough is so soft and silky and smells gorgeous, ofcourse you choose your scent by the conditioner you use.

How its made:

1 cup of cornflour and add hair conditioner slowly. Work until you get a dough consistancy (conditioners vary so add slowly)

Fake Snow

Really feels like snow and you can also pop it in the fridge to get it nice and cold if you wish.

How its made:

1 cup Cornflour and add shaving foam bit by bit until you get the texture you want.

Oobleck

Oobleck is an amazing and fasinating goo. It looks liquid from until you mix it or pick it up and it turns into a solid, stop moving it and it immediately returns to its liquid form.

How its made:

2 cups cornflour 1 cup water...as easy as that.

Bubble Dough

This dough is so soft and nice and squidgy. It smells wonderful and again you get to choose the scent by picking your dish soap.

How its made:

1 cup cornflour about ½ washing up liquid (can differ from different brands so again add slowly)

Of course all of these recipes can be coloured by adding a bit of food colouring. Although i would highly recommend using a food colouring paste.
